Billed as the world's most complete golf experience, this facility is home to two Arnold Palmer-designed 18-hole layouts, the Mountain and Palm; Cloud Nine, a lighted par 3 course with holes with similar shot values from the world's most famous par 3's, and an all-natural grass putting course. Beautiful clubhouse facilities are also available as is a lighted practice range.

2. Badlands Golf Club

(Course Closed) This course was designed by 24-time PGA winner Johnny Miller with consultation by Chi Chi Rodriguez. The course is a true target, desert golf experience with a premium placed on accurate ball striking. The Outlaw nine joins the Desperado and Diablo nines and gives the Badlands 27 extraordinary holes. All 27 meander through several canyons and washes in the northwest desert. Was voted favorite course by locals in a newspaper poll.

The par 72 course is a semi-private layout played underneath the shadow of the Black Mountain range in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas. Black Mountain is one of the oldest layouts in the city. A new clubhouse with banquet facilities is available.

The crown jewel is the Divine Nine, a lighted par 3 golf course. Also available at the facility is a 110-stall driving range with 25 grass hitting stalls, a Callaway performance center, and the St. Andrews golf shop.

Based in a rural setting, Craig Ranch is home to thousands of trees. The par 70 is a local favorite and the course charges one low rate for all.

6. Wynn Golf Club

Nestled behind The Wynn hotel the old Desert Inn Golf Course is a beautiful, tradition-rich championship golf course. The only championship course on the Las Vegas Strip has hosted the PGA TOUR, the LPGA Tour, the Senior PGA TOUR, and the Golf Digest Collegiate Invitational. Extensive redesigning of the course provides challenging play for both the amateur and the most experienced golf professional.

7. Desert Pines Golf Club

Located just 15 minutes from the Strip, Desert Pines is often referred to as "Pinehurst in the Desert" because of its more than 4,000 pine trees, imported South Carolina pine needles and white sand bunkers. Desert Pines offers a "country club for a day experience" and was nominated as the best new upscale golf course by Golf Digest and was voted "Best course in Las Vegas" by readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. On-site is the Desert Pines Golf Center. A Walters Golf Property.

8. Desert Rose Golf Club

Desert Rose, a Clark County-owned facility, has recently undergone millions of dollars in improvements including new irrigation, cart paths, and other upgrades. The course winds through several neighborhoods and is home to a wash that separates holes that parallel each other. Palm trees dot the layout. Walking is allowed on the course which is home to a clubhouse, practice area, and driving range.

The Billy Casper/Greg Nash executive design overlooks the Las Vegas Valley in the new retirement community of Sun City-MacDonald Ranch in Henderson. Always in immaculate condition, the par 60 layout is a challenge for all players and is perfect for a quick round during a busy schedule as the average round takes about three hours.

Another Billy Casper/Greg Nash executive design located in the retirement community of Sun City Summerlin in northwest Las Vegas. It's not a pitch and putt experience as true distance par 4's accent a round of 100-200 yard par 3's.
11. Highland Falls Golf Club

The par 72 layout is one of five Sun City golf courses in Southern Nevada. Highland Falls is highlighted by pretty holes and outstanding views of Las Vegas. Tricky greens, which always break towards the Strip, give good putters an advantage. Designed by Greg Nash and Hall-of-Famer Billy Casper.

The oldest course in Las Vegas, and one of the busiest. Pretty much a "locals" course, the par 72 layout is home to hundreds of trees, several reachable par 5's and a lighted driving range with lessons available. Monte Money, a legend in Las Vegas golf, holds the course record at 58. The facility recently underwent $4 million in renovations. Annually plays host to the Las Vegas City Amateur.

The National has played host to several events on the LPGA Tour and the PGA TOUR including when Tiger Woods earned his PGA TOUR victory. Two Pete Dye-designed (Snow and Sun Mountain) courses highlight the Las Vegas Paiute Resort. Symbolic Dye railroad ties, distinct bunkering and visually demanding holes highlight the player-friendly layouts. Native flowering, lakes and expansive views of the desert terrain accent the round. The Resort houses a complete practice area, and a new 50,000 square-foot clubhouse is open.

Painted Desert was the first desert course in the Las Vegas area, and features emerald green fairways and greens, and holes shaped by desert waste areas with some forced carries. Water features, cacti, and many bunkers decorate the course. Driving range, clubhouse with pro shop, and lessons are available at this American Golf Corporation property.

One of the five Sun City golf courses in the Las Vegas Valley, Palm Valley is a beautiful golf experience. As are all Sun City golf courses, it is in fine condition with tricky-breaking, quick greens.

The second Jack Nicklaus designed course at the exclusive, $4 billion Lake Las Vegas Resort; Reflection Bay is open to the public. The course plays host annually to the nationally televised Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge. The championship masterpiece has five holes that play directly along 1.5 miles of shoreline of the 320 acres Lake Las Vegas. Additional features are spectacular views of surrounding mountains, waterfalls, and holes that play around natural canyons and arroyos. A spectacular full service 32,000 sq. ft. golf clubhouse nestled into the shoreline of Lake Las Vegas is onsite.

Designed by PGA legend Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash, The Revere Golf Club at Anthem is located at Del Webb's new Anthem Community and just 15 minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip. Built-in a desert canyon, the lush 7,143-yard, par 72 course features countless natural elevation changes and beautiful views of the Las Vegas skyline.

Rhodes Ranch is a Ted Robinson design that is home to tough, intriguing par 3's, paralleling fairways and several water features. Robinson says the par 3's are the best combination he's ever designed, highlighted by the 3rd hole that plays over water to a green back dropped by palm trees. Hundreds of additional palm trees accent the course that is tucked within the shadows of the Spanish Mountain range. Rhodes Ranch is a player-friendly course and is home to a beautiful clubhouse.

This Rees Jones layout was awaited with much anticipation and is now the crown jewel of the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino. The course is highlighted by six plateau holes, six canyon holes, and six desert holes. Tiger Woods' teacher Butch Harmon is debuting the Harmon School of Golf at the facility.

Sunrise Vista is home to 27 holes of golf and a complete driving range facility. The Phantom, the Falcon, and the Eagle are the nines. Non-military players can play the course on the stand-by list.

The Tournament Players Club at The Canyons creatively combines personal service and unique aesthetic qualities. The course, designed by PGA TOUR Design Services with Raymond Floyd the player consultant, can be described as desert elegance. The TPC hosts the Senior PGA TOUR's Las Vegas Senior Classic by TruGreen-ChemLawn annually and features a multitude of trees, elevation changes, and steep ravines. Reservations are taken up to 180 days in advance.

Wildhorse is home to hundreds of trees, many shimmering lakes, and greens guarded by bunkers. The American Golf Corporation property hosted the PGA TOUR in the 1960s when it was named Paradise Valley Country Club. The finishing 18th hole is highlighted by five separate water features and a green well-guarded by bunkers. The clubhouse overlooks the course with a patio available for outside sitting.

Two distinctly separate clubhouses accommodate members and guests, and the John Jacobs Golf Schools are on site. A Walters Golf property.

This private club was consulted on by Fuzzy Zoeller and annually hosts the PGA TOUR's Las Vegas Invitational. In 1996, Tiger Woods earned his first-ever PGA TOUR victory by defeating Davis Love III in a playoff on the 18th hole.

Mojave Resort Golf Club is a championship resort course with wide, friendly fairways and four sets of tees, allowing golfers to choose their own challenge. A terrain that combines native vegetation with wind-shaped sand dunes provided the setting for Landmark Golf Company, in conjunction with CNC Entertainment Nevada, Inc., to develop this layout. Emerald fairways laid upon desert delicate sand dunes accent the course.

Cal Olsen etched the course through the wetlands of the Mesquite Valley and utilized the Virgin River to sculpt a course that sets nicely into the natural surroundings. There are 27 holes of golf at the Oasis Golf Club. The Arnold Palmer-designed Oasis Golf Course was recognized as one of the top 5 best new golf courses in North America and is rated among the top 10 you can play by Golf Digest Magazine. The Oasis is home to five sets of tees and features scenic desert panoramas. Rugged canyon fairways and contoured greens make this one of Palmer's most distinctive designs. The Vistas Nine, designed by Palmer's team, is also home to rugged canyon fairways, contoured greens and spectacular desert panoramas.

The Palms championship course is comprised of lakes, sand traps and over 200 palm trees and is a challenge for all levels of players. The layout is two courses in one as the front nine offers extended fairways and plenty of water features while the back nine provides a mountainous style of golf where shot placement is key. The 15th hole has a breathtaking view and a vertical drop of 115-feet to from the tee to the fairway.

This facility features a lighted, two-tiered, climate-controlled practice center with automated ball-teeing system and state-of-the-art instruction bays, complete with video equipment and custom club fitting. Desert Pines Golf Center was recently voted one of the top 10 best new practice centers in the world. The landing area at Desert Pines features target greens patterned after famous par 3 holes.

The Las Vegas International Golf Center is located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and is home to the 1998 NCAA National Championship UNLV Rebel Golf Team. A lighted two-tiered driving range, large practice area, the Pro Golf Discount superstore, and the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy are also on site. The facility was recently rated as one of the world's best practice centers.
